I followed your logic about trusting the staff but this makes no sense whatsoever.

That Saints game you refer to might have been Delhomme's best performance of the year. And we still lost (not because of Delhomme).

Eli won in part because of the running game, yes, but mostly because of a ridiculously great defensive line. But Eli was also pretty good in that game.

Aikman and Elway were a different era. Foxball won championships in that era.

Jake's arm is done. The Tommy John must not have worked. I am not sure why it did not show up last year. Maybe the running game covered it up better, maybe a weak schedule?

Anyway he is done. He can not put the ball where he wants it any more.

Don't get me wrong. Running game and defense are important also. My big problem with Fox is that he does not seem to value the passing game AT ALL. And it's because of this he will never win a championship.

In all reality, I don't think either of the backups are better than or equal to Jake. But something has to happen. Two of the interceptions were not really Jake's fault. The foot one was a fluke and one he was hit as he went to throw it and never got to step into it.

One the other hand, if we had a running back who had fumbled as much as Jake throws interceptions, he'd be playing special teams. We are out of the playoffs and realistically we shouldn't be there the way we're playing. Sit Jake and let's evaluate whether the guys we have deserve to be backups or not. My reasoning is that if Jake hadn't have gone down that year, there is a good chance David Carr would still be our primary backup.

Wow, you must not be watching the same Jake that the rest of the world is watching. I mean seriously, would it really matter if Moore threw 5 interceptions today instead of Jake throwing his 4? Right now we know for a fact that Jake sucks, Moore we don't know, but he sure as hell is taking up a roster spot and there is no better opportunity to evaluate whether or not he should be on the team or hit the road with Jake.

run-first is a good philosophy. Also, may have to deal with it since it's what we have to work with, AND it's the best way to work in a new QB (or a rookie QB, or any QB).

It really is time for Moore. I do somewhat agree, if he's not going to get better, kill him off. But, they expected one camp fighting McCown was worth it.

So, I don't know how to answer that part. But, it's time for a change. Like I said, if it comes down to Feely running around at this point, let's try it.
