Do you really think Moulds would be happy as 'the other receiver'? I'm not so sure. But hell, I'd take the chance on him, too.

No. BUt at this point in his career, I would hope he would come onto a team that can compete. DAmn, Ive always loved Moulds, and I would be psyched if he came here. I think that, coupled with a tinker or two on the OL would put this offense over the top. We go to the Superbowl this year if we have someone else on O step up besides receiver.

Im curious to see how SMitty would take his numbers going down.....

He'd just use more Tiger Balm and get even more pissed off and have the same numbers while Moulds gets about 1100 :D

Seriously Jake had no running game and one receiving threat so I mean I'm not gonna judge him on his performance tonight because of that.

As explained in other threads, those are valid reasons for Jake to have bad numbers, but they absolutely should not cause him to make bad decisions.

Well he makes bad decisions sometimes yes. This is the first time I've seen it in the playoffs. But he has such great chemistry with the team and he's so passionate, you just dont stumble across that everyday.

Very true, and when he's playing well it's easy to love him. Unfortunately when he doesn't play well, it makes my stomach knot up.

if hes compared to Favre, then it looked true today. Favre has had his share of INT filled playoff games...

I like Jake, dont think we need a new QB, but fuck, it sucks it happened today.

either way, when Foster went down last week,I knew even if we beat the Bears we were pretty screwed. if they would have snuck into the playofffs last year, it would have looked something like today.

its pretty amazing they got to this game given the condition they are in...

It would be easier to name the one or two who played well rather than to name the ones who didn't. I'm completely embarassed and shellshocked. Even Denver put up a better effort than the Panthers. We were the laughingstocks of the NFL tonight, but I'll get over it in a few weeks. However, I'm not gonna visit any other boards for a dose of humble pie.

Mark me down as one of the idiots who thought we would win this game.

Yeah. It's rare to see a team win two road playoff games, but we've now done it twice in three years. That's a damn fine accomplishment.
