BunkyBoy-----We went over to get our free beer after practice and you wasn't there. No free beer and no BunkyBoy.

Yeah Bunky we rode over to Schlotsky's after practice. Turns out you werent there. What was your excuse again? You are going to have to take that up with Coach Putt.

 

Glad you guys went by. I spent a good part of the day dealing with my bookkeeper and getting everything in place for filing taxes.

 

I hope to make it next week. I gots 10 or 12 balls and a couple of bats. I carry it all in a real-live softball bag.

 

All right, Putt; I've fallen into your little jock's trap.

While I really am looking forward to getting up with you guys, the softball thing isn't terribly likely.

Like I'd said...my weekends in Charlotte are few and far between and - between friends and family - I usually plan way in advance for the ones that I do spend here (e.g. the reason I couldn't make it today was that I spent most of it flying all over South Carolina with my buddy Bill).

I'll keep checking the dates as you post 'em ('cause I'd love to join y'all), but it's probably best if you count me out.



(...If/when I do show up, I too will be bringing my own "real-live soft ballbag".)

 

Coach Putt, can I still be on the team? Maybe I can bring my kid along next time and he can be the mascot? I would have brought him today, but he has been sick and is real cranky. I can bring my big red plastic bat too! When and where is the next practice?

 

I don't know nothing. BunkyBoy is in charge of all that planning and plotting stuff but I am sure you can be in on the big count.
