    They might be able to push some back on brees one last time. Then it’ll be time to rip off the bandaid and move on with a total rebuild. Even still, a restructuring might get them $10-15 mil back to the cap. Most of their pending FAs are likely guys they can do without. But they’ll still have to fill those roster spots and that still costs money.

    I wouldn't be surprised to see the saints draft a qb early, or get a nick foles-like guy this year.

    They've been getting by on great draft picks, but that luck runs out eventually.

    They do seem to be in love with him. It wouldn’t hurt my feelings if they decided to turn over the offense to him when brees hangs it up.

    Heard a Saints fan on the radio today. When the sports person talked about game changing bad or missed calls in other sports the Saints fan said their call was the worst ever in ANY sport. The radio guy mentioned a fight refs chose not to stop and one fighter died. Saints guy said their call was THE WORST EVER. Seriously, worse then someone dying?

    It's outlandish that Payton takes Brees off the field multiple times a game.

    I'm old enough to remember when the truck rule was the worst call ever. There will always be a new "worst call ever".
