    he did what he was told, he cut salaries. We've relied on youth, and for the most part, we've come away with prospects. Lack of depth, lack of QB are the problems, and those are problems built into what he was told to do.

    That's this year. There are other highly questionable moves.

    But as far as my question on his accountability, only acceptable mitigating factor is JR pulling his strings.

    if not for this year, there's not question of letting him go. I wouldn't have traded for Brown - but anyone I would've picked there wouldn't have been as good. So the big mistake is Edwards, but we knew that. Some people say JR wanted that, too. It certainly wasn't Fox.

    I'm kind of glad we didn't win. After losing some games we should have won, I'd be pissed if the players found some inner strength to win a meaningless game just for Fox. I'd have been taken out in a straight jacket screaming.
