    Actually in 30 years to be politically correct, there will be Male and female players and it will be flag football.

    Something better (and sane) will supplant the NFL by then. NFL stadiums will just be where weird rich people go to watch muscular men wear dresses. It will be a fashion show, basically.

    I'm stealing this prediction from somewhere I read it online years ago but with the reduced participation at youth level and lowered interest in pro due to the laws to try to keep the kids. The future is either going to go full no contact 7 on 7 or become highly regional like lacrosse is now football will simply be something they play in the south.

    It’s going to be a lot like it is today, but maybe with better equipment. How different is it really from the game in 1988? 1978?

    Yes, there of been a few rule changes, and free agency is messed things up good. But the game is played the same way.
