The NFL Expansion Draft is Today

look for the jets to lose three players: Marcus Coleman, Aaron Glenn and Ryan Young. The jags could lose three as well wiht Tony Boselli leading the exit.

a lot of these deals have been worked out in advance, so teams know what they are losing before this goes on the air this afternoon. when the browns re-entered the league, they basically read off a script as they announced the players they were selecting in that expansion draft. no team was surprised.

with teams looking to unload contracts, it works out well for both sides. they make a deal to take a contract and the other team agrees not to pull back a good player.
 
you think there's any way we could get Jamie Sharper before he gets sent there??? or is his contract to high??? We could use another Linebacker or 2 now that Morgan has moved inside

Look for Capers to do the JAgs a favor and unload at least two, perhaps 3 big contracts. Walker and Boselli will almost certianly be selected, and the Jags may not pull backy Payne if they don't want to.
 
I can't really figure out why the Ravens are unloading Sharper. At under 3 millin, he's a bargain.
