    ...appears to be lousy again this year. No one is emerging as a dominant team. In the AFC there's at least Pittsburgh, Indy, and San Diego. In the NFC? Who? Philly, maybe, and they just got punked by Dallas. Tampa Bay? I stil don't think they are for real. Atlanta looks scary...they were without Vick today (though New England may have dominated more if Atlanta had a running QB in instead of a passing QB). Washington's got a good D. But c'mon, Washington? Brunell? The Giants' may be emerging. Maybe.

    But right now, the NFC stinks. We've got parity, folks.

    The NFC really isn't as much worse than the AFC as most people believe. The reason the NFC looks so much worse is that the divisions aren't as balanced. There are at least 3 good teams in the NFC East and South each. That doesn't happen in the AFC. The NFC North and West give the entire conference a bad name.
