    The usual whining suspects are calling for Cooper's head. They are also pissed at Goodell for not raising a bigger stink. Looking at the situation from a legal point of view instead of social or emotional view, I don't know that a team can fine a white player but not a black player if and when the black player uses the word in a similar situation.

    I didn't work out to well for Kerry here. He obviously had other issues that precipitated it.

    I'm sure the Eagles would love to sweep this under the rug after Maclin going down.

    Chip might be in for a rocky season.

    Chip is going to shine like Harbaugh. He won't have the same level of immediate success because he's stepping into a worse situation, but it won't be long before people talk about him as being one of the top five coaches in the league.

    I don't like guys being fined for their words. Did Mendenhall, Roddy White, or Victor Cruz get fined?
