    Ovechkin's goal was really good, considering the difficulty of controlling his body while sliding the puck BACK into the net....Kamensky spinning around looked difficult, but Denis Savard made that look routine in his career...

    I wish Hurricane was around to see that one.

    The first time I ever saw Savard do the spin-o-rama was live at a Penguin game. It totally blew my mind. It was the only time I ever saw the Pittsburgh crowd give a player from another team a standing ovation.

    Youtube doesn't have it anywhere....best goal I ever saw was when Savvy skated through all 5 guys from the Oilers (in Chicago), and beat Fuhr. He beat 2 forecheckers in the chicago end, skated past another in the neutral zone, spun around a 4th at the blue line, and then pulled it through the legs of the 5th defender, before shooting back against his momentum to score.

    I was working for a hockey paper in Chicago, and his quote after the game.

    "It was the greatest goal I have ever scored in my life."

    Was amazing.

    saw nine goals scored Mon. nite. all at my end of the rink. that po' Tampa goalie didn't know what the fuck hit him.
