We really need to get some kick ass scouts.

It's a rich draft for DEs and OTs. Since we usually alternate offense and defense and considering both OTs contracts are up, I'll bet we get a tackle. If we go defense I think it will be a DE for the 1st pick.

For the 2nd pick if there isn't a decent DE or LB, we might go with a QB. We do usually try to fix last years issues. On the other hand it's hard to imagine the FO going for a rookie QB. I'd like to get a vet FS and G in the offseason.

As far as middle of the 1st round, Matt Ryan QB, Clady OT and Groves at DE seem to be our types.

after the top two QBs there's nothing there to be excited about. With our O line, maybe we should look at the Dixon kid from Oregon. At least we know he's capable of running for his life back there.

I think our staff would sign a guy with lesser talent for more than gross would make.

I understand where you're coming from, but the question was if Gross was a bust and not if Fox or Hurney are big enough idiots to make another bonehead move.

get a QB who isn't afraid to trust that steve smith is always open and who can put the ball close enough to him to grab it.

vinny knows how to do it because he's thrown the ball to a million WRs.

How bad does the Panther`s record have to get before Moore is put in?

wait until we have lost 8 games the start Moore and evaluate (I'm also ok with starting him now if they go that way) no way we draft a top guy, Jake has to much left in the tank. we still have Basanova in the wings as well. I'd probably bring a seasoned veteran in too.

As far as QB goes we need to draft a guy who can develop into a starter but not a first round pick. We need to bring in a better backup to Jake who can actually play and give us a shot to win. Jake may not be the same and he may never be healthy for a whole season again. I am not really sure who is out there that is available and good enough to start but there has to be somebody. I am not sure how long Charlie Batch is under contract for Pittsburgh but he might be worth trading a second day pick for. Derek Anderson would not be a bad pickup either.

I doubt we would pick high enough to get Jake Long if we lost the rest of our remaining games. I would love to have him here though. If we had him at LT he would be a nice upgrade on Wharton or Gross.

Why do we need to waste a draft pick on a qb whan we have a couple of young arms already? Give the young guys a try if the season ends up in the crapper.
