Had lunch today at Snoop's grill. Damn good burger, but love the toppings bar, where I get to decide how much pickles, lettuce and onion I want on my chili bacon cheeseburger.

Whenever I make my own burgers it tastes pretty shitty. How do y'all prep the meat?

Definitely get 80/20 meat or higher. Sprinkle some seasoning salt, or mix in some onion soup mix inside. Grilled onions makes a burger IMO

Put salt and pepper on it and let it sit out on the counter overnite.....put it back in the 'fridge until you're ready to cook it. Damn tasty......

I have my butcher mix 25% ground rib-eye in my 80-20. Just some ground pepper. No salt. It drys out the meat when grilling. Grilled onions, peppers or even tomatoes really make it. Fresh crisp lettuce. Crisp pickles. That's a burger.

I like 87/13 best, can tell the difference from 85/15 even. Salt does dry it out too much, agreed.

A place called CharGrill will change your mind when it comes to who serves up the best burger.

Write your ticket with a golf pencil, checking ketchup, cheeze, etc. and then wait for the guy on the speaker to yell out your number, "hey 2339, steak jr. with fries, don't you remember your number?"!
