Are my favorite baseball team, and have been since I was a little kid. All through the 90's the Braves have looked like the team to beat and with the exception of 1995 when they won the Series, they always choke. The Braves are leading the division again, and I am just wondering how soon they are going to choke this year. What does everybody else think?

I voted for lose in the NLCS.

And why does that damn poll put those annoying slashes in when you use an apostrophe???

Because I continue to hope against hope, a strong bullpen and please let them pick up another big bat...Jim Thome, they will win their second world series.

i don't think they bring on a big bat ala thome. the franco/franco combo at 1st has done alright thru this beautiful run they are on. to go deep in the postseason, the trio of maddux, glavine, and millwood has got to make a huge step up.

i'd rather have them winning there past 35 out of 45(or whatever it is now) in mid august on, then now.

If anythng, they bring on a 4th outfielder type of player.

or maybe cliff floyd.

They better watch out for the Expos. According to Baseball Tonight the Expos are about to pick up Floyd and Dempster. If they make the playoffs they better win the division because the Reds, D'Backs and Giants (maybe Dodgers) are also going to be fighting for that wild card spot.
