    Yep, it just hasn't been the same since Mr. Excitement hasn't been in a strong car. :imagestor


    However, Robby Gordon had two good runs at the end of the year after dumping Menard motors and going with DEI. He could honestly be strong next year.

    That's not always a bad thing... Some people just fear change too much, in my opinion. The sport is nothing like it used to be, and apparently it's a good thing because it has become more popular and has developed more followers than ever before.

    Don't get me wrong... The sport was great when Winston sponsored, but it's just as good with Nextel. Until the Chase came into the picture, how often could you actually watch the last race of the year as if it actually meant anything??? Usually the points leader had the championship locked up 2 or three weeks prior to the final race...

    But then again, if you don't care for it, then why watch anymore? There's plenty of people willing to take those seats at the races.
