we'll definitely want to get the ball out somewhat quickly. We won't be able to dink and dunk, but certainly I'd like to see more situations where we spread, or where we just try to get the ball out quick, than that we try to overprotect and make something forced.

...it's more about the defense and turnovers

some sustained drives with long T.O.P. would help keep Manning & Co. off the field

I know who Mathis is and I am also concerned about our ability to block him. Pass protection will be key against them because they are not a great defense other than with pass rush.

You just said that Freeney is the only thing special about their defense. Make up your mind. Their pass coverage is also good, for the record, so next I guess you'll say "they are not a great defense except for Freeney, Mathis, and their pass coverage." How about just stopping with "we need to run the ball well against them"?

Took the words out of my mouth. Even if its not the achilles, a torn muscle takes awhile to heal. If it is the achilles, I don't blame them for not wanting to say so. Remember the basketball game where a guy was trying to step on another guy's achilles last year? Easy to do if they're close together.

Bob Sanders is pretty special. The other guys are no names, but they play well together. But yes, protection will be key. Esp with a 43 year old QB who's body isnt going to want to be hit alot.
