Both Parcells and Shanahan have publicly ruled out even the possibility that T.O. will play for their teams next season, so it will end up being someone else. Miami is a possibility, although they don't really need him and I'm not sure even Saban would take that big a chance. SD and KC make some degree of sense, but I'm beginning to think that JDR might give him a shot in Jacksonville.

Seriously, the chances of us drafting a first round QB this year are about as great as the chances of it being you.

We need one. Jake's a good leader but NOT a good passer, Weinke is a good passer, but eveidently not a good leader. Unless LeFors is the second coming of Unitas, we have three backup's at best.

We aren't looking that direction, but we should be.

You're entitled to that thought, but we almost certainly won't and shouldn't. Even if the team did care about replacing Delhomme, which is highly doubtful, they most likely wouldn't spend a #1 there anyway.

Could Jake excel in a West Coast system? And I agree, no 1st round QBs for Carolina. Doesn't seem like something we'd ever do.
