    well no, not really...

    but you've got to admit the intial thought makes you feel like we're going to kick some serious ass

    I know I'd much rather have him opposite Smitty next year than Colbert or Carter...especially with Proehl retiring next year

    I'd take him for that year, while he tries to "prove" himself, then I'd immediately let him go after the season is up. Owens is like water... the longer he stays somewhere he becomes stagnant.

    I would not want him on my team. The thoughts of Jake throwing to Smitty and Owens is awfully tempting but we could never count on TO. It would almost be worth it just for entertainment value though. I can imagine Jake and that cajun temper once Owens starts to bash him.
