    Cool article.

On the other hand, it sucks that Glazer has to screw up like this. Tommie Davis? Kerry Jenkins?

"Even former Pro Bowl RB Stephen Davis has an outside chance of returning from microfracture surgery somewhere in the middle of the season."

Isn't the latest word Davis could be back in training camp?

Consider the source. And consider we drafted a near clone of him.

It *would* really lift things up if he's ready to go when camp starts.

It would likely be a mistake if he's ready to go at camp. Haven't a lot of the failures at recovery from microfracture surgery been from coming back too soon?

That's hard to say, since in failed cases there's no actual sign that the surgery was truly successful or would've been successful with more time.

Should require time, in that it takes longer than the typical ligament surgery (6 days to walk, theoretically 3 months to "run"), just hard to say if he'll be ready.
