    It does seem like some of these eggheads are actually rooting against the running game and defense. Maybe they feel like it gives them a pathway to an NFL job.

    I've seen this pop up kickoff strategy backfired a lot than I've seen it pay off. Gaining seven yards of field position doesn't seem worth the risk of a big return.
