I hate to have made an argument like that and just take Trufant for Baltimore but it's a need IMO. If not him, I'd have taken Jacobs.

How did I do with the Robertson pick? Cardinals will (hopefully) resign Plummer and shop for a WR via free agency. Their defence sucks and a run stopper in the middle seemed to be a natural. Wanted Suggs but Robertson is also a nice pickup

I for one was a little shocked you took Robertson over Kennedy. Kennedy is a freakin stud.

Special teams may give Newman the edge.

Kennedy retire? Hope not. Kennedy has been playing at a very high level in the playoffs. Absolutely owned Kevin Carter last week.

When his weight is down to a manageable level (350 - damn he's big), he is simply dominant.

There was a story about him possibly retiring this week. Said if they win he may tap out, being done with contract and all.

I agree Newman's ST abilities and possible O potential would bump hm up, and I do find him the better cover guy overall, by the slightest. I just wouldn't sacrifice my best corner that way if I could help it. Plus, Trufant's one of the guttiest defensive players short of Doss in the secondary, and Fox has been said to like the crazies.

Nice pick with Harris. I know the Rams will end up that way.

I was actually hoping to go D-line with my pick, but with Suggs, McDougle, Robertson, Kennedy and Joseph off the board, I didn't see anyone left that would be decent value at 13. Next I was thinking Spurrier-like and thought WR, but the 2 next best receivers at this point are Jacobs and Lloyd, both also reaches at 13. So I filled another big need with perhaps the best O-lineman in this draft. Steinbach is simply brilliant at the guard spot, and is a capable backup at OT if needed.

I might have taken a DE for the Skins, but they need help their, and he would be a good player for them. Harkens back to the old athletic pulling guards of Redskin yore.

I thought about going with a WR but, I thought it was to early for Lloyd or Jacobs. I about ent with EJ henderson but, the injuries scared me away. San diego has two solid tackles but I think Gross could play guard for a season and then take over at tackle later. I thought Gross was probally the best player available and the way Marty likes to run the ball I thought he could help open some holes for LT.

any comments about the pick? Did I miss an obvious need or skip a player better suited for the Chargers?
