Yep. Ricky's from Fresno. He went to college at UCLA.

Nick Burley went to Fresno State, and I was really high on him coming into this year. He was as effective in Fresno's magical 2001 season as Alvin Harper was, and Burley played with a cast all year. But without Harper there to absorb double teams in 2002 (Harper was taken by the Jets in the 4th round last year), Burley disappeared on the field.

He's listed at 6-4, 250 lbs. That's probably close. But he doesn't need to add bulk so much as strength. At best, he's probably a second day draft project. After a couple of seasons' worth of NFL strength and conditioning, he could develop into a Rucker-esque RDE, but I don't think he'd ever make it as a strong side end.

Agreed. Witten could take the place of Ricky Proel in formations. They could run a 3WR/1TE single back set with Witten in the pattern and he would catch some balls. He'd be a mismatch against just about any nickel back in the league.

the vikes on the tbr nfl 2003 draft pick, k? had you joined and picked the vikes/jets pairing, it would have been your call. i think mike tice will draft better than i did. shit, he better. he is paid to do so! ;)

who would you have picked for the vikes on the 7th, grid? am really curious. obtw, take in consideration all the others left to be picked. he was the best choice for me at the time.

i messed up on my jets pick, tho. i know that now. i have been doing my homework on the jets. shoulda picked an OG, or a DT, i think.

hasbeen99: ok, you said high school. qb. ok. gotcha. i am leaning toward manning, i think. but not yet. not just yet.

I'm not very good at this, Lexy, but if you want him, I wouldn't let him go by you in the 3rd. I doubt he'll be there in the 4th.

He's a tad undersized at 5'9", but most of the big name receivers in the NFC North aren't overly tall, so he should work well for you.

piper, i will draft cb, safety or wide receiver for the vikes next. last year the vikes D was awfully inadequate! i actually want to draft another for D but i think i should look at other needs. thanks. am not too sure about my last pick, but what the hey.

    magnus you are up.
