I am guessing we better keep this a freebie. Not having to make it a money league will keep players interested

How about this. I wanted to add a DL to our rosters but Yahoo wouldn't allow it. It would suck if say Peyton Manning broke his leg in week one and you had to carry a dead spot on your roster fir the whole year just to retain him for next. What if we have a gentlemens agreement that if you have a player that gets put on IR you can waive him and retain him only after you post in the league message board your intentions. By doing this you MUST keep him for next year. In otherwords if a Trent Green/Kurt Warner situation pops ups and the IR player ends up losing his starting gig you still have to keep him until at least after the next years draft. After the season you pick the keeper back up, I print all rosters and then we all post our keepers on the fantasy section of TBR and I'll sticky it

I may be in the minority here, but I think this takes away from the fun of a keeper league. Making tough decisions like this is what its about. If the guy's worth keeping, then keep him. If not, take a chance on something else. Personally, I'd be against this rule.

those are the tough decisions that you must make in a keeper league

do you want to ditch the play this year and try and use that spot on your roster to improve ur team possibly this year ? those are the challenges , if hes a round 1 to 4 guy chances are his value is still great enough that you should hold onto him for years to come

    i vote , NO
