Al Michaels suggested that a lot of the older guys got heavily deflated on the news that Monte Kiffin wasn't coming back because it also meant they wouldn't be brought back.

Valid? No idea, but there's evidence.

Ronde and Derrick really started looking slow during the loss to the Panthers. It's amazing how quickly the fall from grace can occur. But for the record, Tampa Bay can KMD.

Monte can run off to TN, but he can't pretend that we didn't face-plant his defense with the season effectively on the line.

We broke Tampa. And it was so tired hearing about how Derrick Brooks was "still playing at a high level" and then watching guys run by him in the last couple games I saw of him. Cato June is going to get run over if he doesn't have a lot more beef over him, and Ruud isn't that great when guys get to him either.

I'd rather they had won that game today. They're letting a better team into the playoffs, whether it's Dallas or Philly.

I remember watching the talking heads on ESPN in the build up to our monday night game saying that Tampa was the better team and that we were an "ugly" 9-3.... I guess we are an ugly 12-4 now too....

Yeah - I'd rather see Tampa again than Atlanta also.
