I thought it was a good movie but I thought considering Bryan Singer was the director that it could have been better. His X-Men movies were awesome wereas I left the theater a bit disappointed with Superman. I hope the next one (if they do one) has a better villian than Luthor. I want to see Superman kick some butt and use his powers in ways I haven't thought of, much like Singer did with the X-Men characters.

they need to do a 2 part superman movie where he fights doomsday and dies... if done right it would be magnificent, and we wouldent be watching supermand movies for the rest of my life.
introduce the :"man of steel" john henry and superboy and supergirl.
    that would be incredable.
i was disgusted by superman 1.5

In saying you didn't like Superman 1.5 I'm confused... are you talking about the directors cut of the original?

I liked Superman Returns, but its not really between 2 and 3. They've totally disregarded that 3 and 4 ever existed, and I don't mind that.

Fantastic movie, even if it did forget about Clark Kent about 2/3rds of the way through.

Singer has made Superman a mythical being again. The quieter bits of the movie were some of the best. Lots of Jesus imagery and metaphors.

It did make me feel like a kid again. Definitely recommended. Despite a couple of nagging flaws, its great.

If Singer will adapt the same look and feel to a better plot, he may make the best superhero movie ever.

BTW - Was that really Parker Posey as Kitty? Fuck she's aged. Tell me that's makeup. Tell me I'm not that old

Really good flick. My youngest son got bored several times but I thought it was much better than any of the Superman movies that had come before.
