Broncos gained 194 yards in SB 50, the only winning team in SB history with less than 200 yards of offense. Last 7 teams below 200 yds lost.

The officials/NFL gave Denver the game. But honestly should we be surprised?

The officials were bad and certainly hurt us, but we just couldn't get any rhythm offensively and couldn't keep their D out of our backfield. Talib is a dirty player and i thought that long before yesterday. That said, I'm wearing my Panther blue proudly today. Yesterday is not the sum of who this team is. KEEP POUNDING!

Yes the Denver D will go down alongside the old Ravens D as the best in Super Bowl history.

    Manning 13/23 141 yds 0TD 1INT sacked 5-37 yds QBR 9.9
    Newton 18/41 265 yds 0TD 1INT sacked 6-64 2 fumbles lost QBR 16.9

Those fumbles were HUGE obviously but those are not on cam, blame the shitty protection.
Also blame some shitty play calling. Carolina needed to go more dink & dunk. The pats had success dumping it to their back, and slot receivers. I believe they had 15 or 16 hook-ups there. What did we have in that area? ONE completion to fozzy i think? That was dumb . .. why ignore something that had worked on that D two weeks before??? Surely blindside and reemjob could have kept cam upright long enough to dink & dunk.

I recall cam trying numerous passes out of the backfield to stewart that didnt work because of cams rocketball / accuracy

every time we were about to turn the corner in this game something went wrong

we were on their side of the 50 and just didnt get it done , int /fumbles / missed fg

The first strip sack was Cam Newton holding the ball too long, as he is prone to do. IMO. The second, jailbreak. No doubt the protection was just plain horrible the entire game.

Shula just has no short/quick passes in the playbook...nor receivers who can get ope n quickly, recognize a blitz to adjust routs and a QB on the same page, or have a back for a checkdown.

Their pass rush was awesome, we had no counter as play calls or routs. I can't recall how many sacks were due to coverage sacks, or plays or simply that cam cannot make a quick decision.

Either way, it all looked pretty bad.
