we had season tickets to the hornets when they first came into the league, and went to every game, religiously, and they would win 20 games a season...but that place was so energetic, electric, i remember being hoarse after all the games...so i dont buy the fact that charlotte fans suck, because ive seen the good times, for both the nba and nfl...panthers games are just lame, id rather watch them on tv right now...there is no electricity or excitement surrounding the team or that stadium, its up to the team and the organization to provide that

I never said CHARLOTTE fans suck. There have been things written (whether in print or on the web) that Carolina is not the toughest place for NFL teams to play, based on several factors.

Empty seats (before a game or even after halftime) don't help.

There is a good chance I'll have an extra ticket. Called a buddy of mine and haven't heard back. A couple of beers at the game and the ticket could be had. Sec 108

I have been making the trip from Raleigh since Clemson in '95 and not missed many games. Even made a few memorable road trips. BUT.....my excitement has really been tested this year .....BUT....when I asked my 10 year old if he really wanted to go with the cold weather and rain in the forcast he said to me "dad, it's the Panthers, I don't care what the weather is". Man, I alsmost forget what it's all about and that it's OUR TEAM. I'll be there as always!
