    Strong:

Defense. Particularly against the run. Yummy.
    JENKINS
    Thomas Davis
    Seward at backup MLB
    Marshall
    Drew Carter
D Williams looking like his highlights.
Stopping them on 4th and goal.
    ZERO TURNOVERS.....
    Efrem Hill

    Weak:

Jake sailing it - all frikkin night. Let's hope he got one of his bad games out of him. He's good for about 3 per season.

    Oline - still suspect.

The running game - this has GOT to change.

PENALTIES.. Penalties killed our first several offensive even more than Jake.

Overall I'm stoked. I haven't been on the bandwagon of 'The Panthers will win it all', rather I think we're 50/50 for a playoff spot. I like alot of what I see, and if the run game can come around, good stuff. Plus, Smitty ain't out there.

And WTF with Shelton? I guess he's gone. I never saw him on ST, either, which is imperative for the #3 RB here. Makes me think Robertson is in, and we'll be Foster/Williams/Goings/Robertson, and Hoover/Goings/Cramer.

I didn't see Haynes playing ST, either. I did see Robertson and Cramer playing ST, and I think Henning would rather keep those guys. You know how he feels about Goings.

I saw Shelton on punt protect. He was an upback. Looked allright. So he was out there.

At first you would've been able to say Robertson was out for sure - with the Williams/Hoover deep backs on KR. But then Robertson was out there later. RObertson's had a couple nice runs again. He's worthy, honestly. I just don't like what we 'd have to cut to keep him.

I know Jake sailed a couple passes, but I felt on at LEAST one play Keary Colbert looked like he pulled up on the play and sure enough the ball sailed right over his head.

In addition to Jake needing to tighten it up, the WR's have GOT to run their routes and not give up.

Haven't you made this comment every other day for the last two months? God damn, did he ass rape your dog to death or something? I was puzzled why we didn't see him last night, but we didn't see Haynes either, and obviously at least one of them is going to make it. I don't know that Robertson playing necessarily means that he's higher on the depth chart either, especially after the fumble. It could just mean that he's having to prove something now because he's even further behind the others. Speculation is fun and all, but I'm pretty sure none of us really has a grasp on what's going on at RB right now.

Anyway, the pass defense was terrible, so that was a big disappointment. I'll take a closer look later on.

You just can't help being an asshole, can you? :agreed: I've never wanted Shelton to go, quite the opposite. Just haven't seen anything that makes me think he stays, and that's disappointing.

It would be pretty funny to watch Shelton try to bust a move on Sully, though.
