    I don't. Collins has the phyical gifts - size, arm strength. But he's a loser. Jake's a winner. Jake's a leader.

    Jake is the anti-Collins.

Substitute Collins' first name for those last 2 posts and they take on a whole new meaning.

For one thing Phili and New England have been there over a sustained period of time, so until they are not as good over probably a two year period then they will be always considered a threat. Much as I love the Panthers, we have done nothing positive consitently.

As far as our worthyness of being in the Super Bowl.

Also, I am sure statistics would suggest that the Panthers have pretty long odds of representing the NFC again this year in the Super Bowl.

I know that Philly and New England have had consecutive playoff seasons, but what about Atlanta, Seattle? Come on!! Carolina deserves alot more credit. When I see that projection..its as if they are saying we got lucky to be in the Super Bowl and I don't feel that way. I feel that we were and still are an elite team in the NFL.

As far as stats...that doesn't mean alot. Look at Indy. Manning has put up Marina type numbers and hasn't been in the Bowl.

There is no team in the league that I am afraid to play. And I have confidence that we can beat anyone.

I am going to keep tabs of all you "nah say-ers" and see what you are saying come playoff time. You dogged the team last year this time and then drooled all over yourselves when they made thier run.

    AHHHH SHUT UP!!!

We're not saying Carolina sucks we're saying we understand why the magazines are being careful when picking them to win.
