Steve Smith misses practice again

Carolina Panthers wide receiver Steve Smith did not practice for the second straight day due to a slight shin injury. Also missing work once again was defensive tackle Damione Lewis (shoulder).

Returning to full practice, though, were safety Deke Cooper (shoulder), running back DeShaun Foster (turf toe) and cornerback Ken Lucas (hip). The first two missed all of Wednesday's workout, while Lucas was limited by the hip pointer, which he sustained on the defense's next-to-last play last Sunday.

If smith can't play we might as well call Roger Goodell and ask him to cancel the game on sunday.Without 89 there is no way that we score anything with this offense that we have

 

yeah... those 2 or 3 catches per game have made such an impact

 

Surely you're not dumb enough to believe that the lack of catches are Smith's fault? He can't throw the ball to himself, ya know.

 

Just imagine how shitty Carr would have looked if Smitty wasn't out there inflating those numbers...
