    We will not make the playoffs this year.

    I don't remember a SB loser getting scavenged this bad in years. Maybe ever. Does anyone else? I expected some, but dang. :shakehead

    Again, Diem is good. A better, younger, cheaper player. But Meadows has struggled in pass protection.

    I have a lot of faith in management but, jeeze Louise! They sure make the off seasons interesting!

    Ravens -- nevermore?

    Only worse bunch I can think of was Baltimore, which fired the QB (Dilfer) who won the Super Bowl for them and then brought in Elvis Grbac. Then the Ravens went up against the salary cap and lost, as all teams eventually will, and now they are terribly embroiled in the T.Owens-Jamal Lewis messes. Still, they should make the playoffs in 2004, since their NFC North foes haven't done much either -- except for the Bengals. :nono:

    First, I for one am proud and happy to be able to wear my original #75 jersey once more without people thinking I was a Stuessie fan

    Second, and I really mean this...Thanks to a good deal of you who throughout many threads have been quite readily able to destroy in near totality my superbowl buzz for the season. I know for damn sure that I am now going to get some more work done and have a little extra family time in lieu of TBR footall for the next several months.

    The first game of the season is far more special when the man in charge can shock the shit out of you and win a few. And if he turns out to be a goat, than why waste your anger in the off-season...

    Farewall ye gentlemen till the autumn wind rises.....

    Shouldn’t be a huge surprise . . . Neither should KDs retirement or not resigning Jeno to a heavy contract. I think it WILL be a big surprise if we don’t draft a G and a T in the first four rounds of the draft this year.
    So much for that WR that so many of us wanted on day one. Maybe next year.)
