    And its only 2.6 mil a year, incl a 2.5 mil bonus. What Ive heard is that he was injured that poor year 2 years ago, and that they moved a really fine player into his spot in response. If he's healthy, it sounds like he may be good again. Of course, 2 injuries in the last 2 years. It sounds like the contract could be easy to get out of, though. I hope we have a decent backup.

    Well, I guess we really get to see what kind of coach Mike Maser really is. He's going to have his work cut out for him basically putting together a brand new line. I wonder how much of this was by his choice on personnel versus how much came from financial/salary cap issues.

    Yeah, I remember griping about Steussie, but after all the other changes on the line, I felt keeping him was important to have some consistency. Oh well.

    ...well... Steussie seemed to have conqured his false starts for the most part last year. I thought it was because he might have lost a step :D
    So for y'all that don't like having aging players this is good news, let hope the NFG is as good or better.

    It makes getting an eventual right tackle a fairly big long term need for this draft. It was already pretty big, and now its bigger.

    Well, well now we've gone and shit in our lunch kit. Wonder how Jake's feeling about things now. Unless we find a hard core veteran to fill this gaping hole I will be very pissed. A rookie will not do here. we need someone who knows the league and the systems. This takes years. Shit Shit Shit.

    Another thing. It is one thing when a player fucks up a play or two and we rat on him, which some of us did with Stu, but it is entirely different when a rook is out there, lost as an easter egg, fucking up the whole game.
