What is the cap number available now with Steussie's release? How much do they save? he was due to make 4.15 and then 4.9 the next 2 seasons...is it the salary he was to make this yuear, or the total for the duration of the deal?

KFFL is saying it frees up 1.3 million this year. Maybe we are going to sign Vincent...

edit, he had 3 years left.

    He'll be a $2.375m cap roughly.

would have cost us. $5.04 this years

    saves us roughy $1.7m

Sure he won't count 2.5? Half of his 5 million dollar bonus is still prorated.

It's that third year of the program. Seems like you build something, and then you go to switch gears and grind the hell out of the entire transmission.

Gross should be somewhat ready for the left side. But he'll have a green guy inside of him, not what I envisioned the move to be like.

Steussie was still an asset. We still had a lot of cap space tied into him, but we were going to have that space in him regardless of whether he played or not. Now, not. And now, we still need a damned guard, which will probably be this fabled signing about to take place.
    Of course putting secondary, secondary.
