we are really not bad off with the loss of smith and davis, colbert can make plays, and we know foster can, the defense will step it up this week, the only problem is the o-line can they get anything done?

I agree, I think Colbert can step up here, if the O-line gives Jake time to get the ball out. And like Mags said, our offensive is more balanced when Davis is out.

My knee jerk reaction (poor choice of words) is to think we start the season 1-4...then I start looking at what we have and think this can work. In order to work, our offensive approach will need to change somewhat. I don;t like the idea of Foster running plays designed with Davis in mind...not as shaky as this O-line is.

It will be interesting, that's for sure! :teeth:

Agree 100% ... Our coaching staff needed to work 10 x as hard as they have worked their players this week. The key to the Panthers scoring (and stopping scores) is for our coaches to better utilize the talent we have left on the field. Coaches like Belichick and Fisher can do it. I hope Fox & Co aren’t too damn stubborn and set in their ways (and the friggin PLAN) to bend a little and work overtime to come up with “flattering” adjustments. You are only supposed to stick with what you’ve got when it’s working . .. any dummy could see that it wasn’t working last week.

    Dear coach Fox,
Please do not run that same predictable game plan from last week just with a handful of personnel changes

BTW - DO NOT give detector ANY of the attention that he is obviously so desperate and needy for. He’s a bored little kid and beyond this reminder he should simply be ignored
