Temporarily. Rutherrford can spend another year on PS. Then he can compete with Weinke after that, if Weinke's even here. He will be a FA at the end of this year, and may not be super happy.

Sounds like an excellent backup. QBs who can run and can STILL pass (unlike Fasani, Craig) can get by with less experience, reps, etc.

Mort just said we discussed Aaron Rodgers as he fell. Don't know how serious the discussion got.

After seeing that ESPN piece on him, I know I'll be rooting for him to succeed. What a story.

oh no a cajun who don't throw it up for grabs. All we need now is a TE to run those crossing patterns.

But really, we just drafted this guy so we have someone who can understand Jake when he gets excited.

ANALYSIS: A true leader on the field who does a great job directing the offense, LeFors is an undersized passer with marginal arm strength. Consistent throughout college, he could effectively backup in a west coast offense. Also has potential to line up at several different positions.

Safety?? TV said he was a former track star. All I know is, he's the type of guy you want on your team, and I hope he sticks at some spot
