Blast me if you must but I feel like posting this:

    QB Jake
    FB Hoover
    RB Foster
    WR Smith
    WR Keyshawn
    TE Mangum
    LT Wharton
    LG Wahle
    C Hartwig
    RG Mathis
    RT Gross

Total of three new starters two on the OL.....

    LDE Peppers
    LDT Kemoeatu
RDT Jenkins (cross your fingers)/ Lewis/Carstens
    RDE Rucker
    WLB Davis
    MLB Morgan
SLB Draft or draft pick ie Carpenter
    C Lucas
    C Gamble
    FS Branch
    SS Minter

Five new starters (unless Carstens starts) out of eleven, granted a couple of those guys have been here just not starting.

Seems like a lot of tinkering for a team that went to the NFC championship game but they seem like upgrades for the most part. I hope it does not take long for the team to click.

No more than usual. And most of the new starters replace old starters that needed replacing.

Oddly, safety is still my biggest defensive concern.

Davis, Kemoeatu, Draft. Jenks & Branch were starters before injury so I'd count that as only three new guys. Those three: Kemo started, Draft has started for us on occasion, Davis 1st rounder. Pretty good looking lineup.

Mine as well, right now. LB I know we could do better with, but it's not absolutely required.
We'll get a RB, guaranteed. If not, we still have 3 guys we could throw at the problem.
Safety, we have an aging vet, a young guy with one year experience coming off injury, a potentially washed up aging vet, and a special teamer.

I would not be shocked if Branch were not starting and it is possible that we may have a new starting TE.

Five new starters on defense compared to last year

    Kemoeatu replaces Buckner
    Jenkins/Lewis replaces Carstens
    Draft/Seward/draft pick replaces Short
    Branch/Williams replaces McCree
    Davis replaces Spoon

I know some of those guys have started for us before but Jenkins has not played in two years, except for the first half against the Saints. Branch has missed a whole season and really only played one year. It is a pretty big shakeup for a defense that was as good as ours was last year.
