....listening to India Arie before the Grammy nominations came out? This CD (or rather the pirated contents that would have been a CD if I'd bought it) is pretty damned good.

I liked her performance at the grammys.

I had never even heard of her before that.

saw her last night on saturday night live. she is pretty good! oh yeah...

cool...it's a start. I don't know that I think she's great or awe inspiring but it's something different. I think she comes from that whole Roots-D'Angelo scene up there around Philly, and I can get into damn near anything that comes out of there of quality.

She's an R&B artist. Heard a bit of itm, but I'm not real familar. A cut above most of the crappy synth pop that gets passed off as R&B.

I don't remember. she's a black chick is all I remember.
I didn't watch the award show. All I know is that once she was nominated/won she was so big to some of my musician friends. Fuck that, I've been listening a while. Not avidly, but I'm not listening just because she was nominated.
