How about this. Assuming Mosse put up similar numbers that he did the 3 years "prior" to last year what would be his market value? Should we pay him based upon a year in which his stats were inflated because he was one of the few weapons we had or take the average of 4 years, pay him a nice signing bonus and offer him #2 receiver money

I think Jeno might have thrived here with Maser. But, it didn't work out.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but Moose's release frees up $10 million more in cap room for 2005.

If this is correct, we need to take every last fucking penny and put it towards the following:

    Fields
    WR
    FS
    Draft

No excuses this offseason. If they go 7-9 again, you will see a new coach in 2006.

yes, and I'd do my absolute best to get a long-term extension for 'spoon before we go through Moose-gate with him this time next year.

Keep in mind that part of that $10 mill was OVER the cap, so it's not like we suddenly got $10 mill in free space.

They graded Fields a 70, too. Both were a few points ahead of Matt Willig.

And the offensive line, which probably falls under draft.

I want to see this next season:

    LT Gross
    LG Wharton
    C Mitchell
    RG Neil
    RT Barron/J. Brown/F. Miller

I'm advocating that the rating system doesn't mean shit. That's clear.

Back to original question of this marathon thread

Baltimore 40 million over 5 years which includes a 12 million dollar signing bonus

They got shit on by Terrrell Owens last year, missed out on bidding on Moss or Porter. They will over spend HUGE to get a receiver for Boller to over throw to.
