i think you misquoted me. it is awful imo to be on the field as much as he was and not be able to note one single positive thing. the tackle of the receiver on the sideline was awful. Gamble does a better job tackling.

[edit] aw, i see now ... i was refering to a particular play which you then applied to my description of his overall play. not fair ... but not a stretch from how i feel about the guy.

OK, either way I get the point where you're coming from, and don't disagree, but I don't know that I agree either. I didn't see negatives and saw plenty of positives from seeing WW on the other side.

speaking of trgo, we went from #2 to barely cracking the top 10 in d. we only got in the top 10 because of the end of season schedule. now we've slid much closer to the bottom. i don't see any way he stays. whether he deserves it or not, its not getting done and i don't think you can keep him at dc. back to line coach if he'll take it. shit ain't always fair, or deserved, but the players need a new face and a kick in the ass.

We're not burning it up for sure with him at DC, while he did a pretty nice job as DL coach.

We were ranked 16 coming in - exactly in the middle - this week. Sure, we were 8 or so because of the easy late schedule, but we were there in 2002, too. Just had an easy schedule all year. The breakdowns have hurt, and are more indicative of why we've had problems.

At any rate, I doubt he'll just spring back to be DL coach again.

I don't think the rankings mean alot. We were playing alot of weak teams in 2002, and everyone that was supposed to be there was there. Just watch the D and see if you think they are well coached considering the talent.
