Agree. Like Carstens. Pushed around, but not absent.

I think play time will only make him better (Vinnie).

At 1-7 we'd have to win out to even think of making the playoffs and even getting to 9-7 would still be a longshot. It's time to see what we've got in some of these guys, the Carstens' and Cho-Cho's.
Trgo might be protecting these guys too much with play calling and not being aggressive enough? Maybe? I'll give him the benefit of the doubt there. Alot of these guys haven't been in the system long, plus were nursing along a very young D backfield. It almost begs for a conservative approach.
The Panthers problems lie on the injury list and the lack of aggressive off-season personell moves...hindsight is a bitch, but you still gotta plan on an injury or 2 at each position. We just got hit hard there.

It sucks, but it's unlikely that things will improve fast enough to get the Panthers 9 in a row. Winning 6 out of the remaining 9 would be a coup...5-6 of the remaining games in the W column and jobs will be safe. Less than that and we should see some heads roll.

i thought Choo played pretty well. made some big stops. that i can remember off-hand, one at the goal-line where he thought he stripped the ball. another on a screen pass where he crushed the RB for a loss. anytime you get a big OL on a LB, the LB generally loses (unless it's Willig on them). he reads well, avoids blocks well, is quick and keeps churning, which is more than we can say for some others.

on the other hand, your DTs should not be getting pushed around.

did Choo get hurt or pulled?

i thought things went seriously downhill when Allen came into the game. i hate him worse than i did Favors.

The thing that still gets me is how politely our D is playing.

I didn't see negatives in Allen's play. I thought, also, that WW looked better on the strong side.

Choo had an okay game. Some good tackles, but some ankle grabbers where he couldn't make a good solid contact. He didn't exploit his own gap and that's all I'm looking for, from a backup.

Can't win and won't win with the Mental mistakes they make. Going to be a LLLOOONNNGGG season. Fox needs to start looking at himself and his coaching staff. But then again, lets look forward to next year with a top two pick in the draft.

What major, or minor, mistakes did he make? Any? Coverage? gap control? You're convinced he was bad, so I'm willing to hear evidence.
