besides I seem to recall catching 14 degrees of hell when UNC got upset in the tourney last year ( and every year for that matter)

uh, fsu goes to the college world series every year and spring football practice gets us through march.

if the football team loses the first week in january, you can at least watch a basketball game or two (like a win over duke) before recruiting heats up in early february.

there's hardly any down time there.
