I have a feeder on top of a pole. I nailed (roof) flashing on the pole so the squirrels can't climb. [If you've got trees near the feeder this won't work because those fuckers can jump(a long ways).]

I didn't even think of them jumping out of the trees onto it. I was going to move them closer to the woods but I really don't want to have my bird feeders torn up.

I've given up about the squirrel. I took a picture of him and you can actually see the glimmer in her eye as she stuffs her face!

HW, maybe you should put a sign out saying "not for squirels, birds only!"
