My GF's doesn't just smoke either, her's is a bonefide addiction. She plans every move, activity, TV, everything around smoking. She cannot walk 15' from the house to the carport without lighting up. When we arrive, she's already got a smoke in her mouth and the lighter in her hand and is smoking while she's getting out of the car. [No matter how far we traveled, it could've been just one mile. etc. It's usually about 20 minutes of TV, then outside for a smoke.]
We're looking at $170+ cost per month, too boot.

My view is that it depends on the weed you are smoking, and the purposes for which you're using it.

If you are able to access home grown cannabis that has not been bred with the more recent types of 'skunk' or other more potent hybrids, then you may find that you can use the drug for relaxation, pain relief, spiritual insight or social mediation. I say this from personal experience, as i find the more recently available cannabis derivatives ( actually, since the 1980's!) to be a mental cosh, and have avoided it for some years.

I guess you can think through and analyse for yourself the drug you're using, the purpose you intend, and whether it is meeting your purpose- that's for you to decide. There is no shortage of information on the net and elsewhere about weed, you can weigh up this information without the vast benefit of yahoo, and with the great knowledge about your own situation and experience.

Essentially, do you find that weed enhances your life?
