    "Wide receiver Steve Smith arrived, and said his trade talks weren't about money or a new contract. He admitted he's 'been an ass' for a lot of years because his emotions got best of him. He also said he has been working out privately with Cam Newton for a couple of weeks in Charlotte. He was texting with Cam on his way to Spartanburg, and indicated Newton was on his way to Wofford. When asked a followup about Newton, Smith said he didn't text and drive."

    Jake was fun. Cam is an entertainer and icon, so he's fun, too.

    Jimmy Claussen? Not so much.

    I think Smitty wants to get back to having fun and just play the game.
