It's because Gettleman is trying to be the Bull, which I guess I can respect in a way.

Maybe Smitty blasted Gettleman in their meeting? I mean, serious...maybe he lit into him and they had themselves a little meltdown...

Maybe JR is trying to mend the fences, and have some tough dialogue with the two?

Shaggy, the word is it's not about the money at all, and as Collin illustrated earlier, it doesn't help us financially at all to cut him. It's actually to our detriment.

I imagine all the fucking conjecture going around that it stems from Gettleman's big mouth and show of force is probably correct.

All I know is this is a man who hasn't done a thing with our offensive line, other than force Gross into early retirement, and tender offers to Bell again, probably moving him to the left side, now that Wharton is inevitably going to retire.

It's like our offense is a car, not a fast car, but a solid car, and we parked it on a bad street. Gettleman is that fucker in the alley with all his buddies who come up and begin stripping it down to nothing.

    Nothing but subtraction.

    Fucking A, man.
