    I'm pretty firmly in the Mariotta camp. Judging strictly on what I think they will do not who they should actually get. He's got the first round pedigree they crave in these projects and he's just unfamiliar enough for everyone to talk themselves into it.

    Sam is legitimately benchable. Walker has similar flaws and I'm certain he's not a starter, but the deep ball is there. What you're starting to see now is nobody in the NFL thinks Darnold can complete a pass that travels longer than 15 yards in the air. That's why DBs are getting a running start on these interceptions. They're just sitting flat at depth and running right into them.

    That anderson miss showed he's got the arm but not the accuracy. They'll keep it up until it fails.

    I feel like PJ Walker could be a Minshew or a Heineke. I don't think Darnold is even that. I think he probably ends up as a Mark Sanchez or Rick Mirer. He'll stay in the league for a while because of his draft pedigree, but you don't even want him as a #2 in a perfect world.

    A guy can't handle the pressure but looks good in the red jersey needs to find a qb that doesn't get hurt and take cheap contracts to run the scout team. David carr, Geno Smith, and Matt Schaub all got nice career second winds doing this. No teaching a rookie bullshot just beat out a 4th or later rounder every couple of years and make bank.

    Yeah they wouldn't do something like move a starting qb 2 offseasons in a row. Insanity.
