well....let's see. $40K sticker new, upside down on what I traded, tax, title, extended warranty...carry the one and there you have it.

would i do it again...FUCK NO. do i like the truck...FUCK YEAH.

im able to keep the mileage down on it because we have 3 cars. it's one of the safest rides on the road IMO with the side curtain air bags and all. hell, im only paying about $100/month more than i was on what i traded. my wife was almost killed in 2001 driving a jeep grand cherokee limited (no side air bags) which got broad sided. if that jeep would have had side/door air bags i doubt if she would have been as seriously injured. i wanted side air bags and drive it mostly on the weekends or at night when the drunks are out and we take it on long driving trips.

You're usually the bigger part of the problem when it comes to drunks on the road. Trust me. I've been there.:twocents:

translation. you owed more money on the trade than the value they would give you..so you rolled negative equity into the loan to get the 40K price.

you and photoguy should go into business together.

what's really fun...buy/finance a new $20K car at 0% interest...have the finance guy throw another $5K or so on top and cut you a check back for that...to blow however you want.

I like the Durango I just bought a lot. You may be chained to it but atleast you have a nice ride now. I have never had a vehicle with leather seats before, it is pretty nice.
