24 yard TD run from scrimmage. He hit a little hole and was gone.

There's a ton of guys here I'd love to see in a Panthers uniform, too bad we can't have them all.

Sproles would definitely fill our KR role very nicely and contribute more on offense than Smart.

I wouldn't mind seeing one of these beastish DEs here to push Rucker. Roth, Swanncutt, Spears...they can't block Roth or Swanncutt.

    I definitely wouldn't mind Kay-Jay Harris in the 3rd.

Morrison is all over the field making tackles.

Clayton and Gibson seem fairly close to me, I don't think you'd go wrong with either guy. Brown is making some nice plays too.

Gruden's team reminds me of Tampa Bay, lots of penalties, strange play calls...

I would love to have Sproles here to replace Smart at KR.

Wp, freeze up is more like it. He has/had a speech problem and therefore this is the reason he rarely gives interviews.

Funny thing is, the Raider fans are also talking Sproles up and would love to have him on their team for ST. I'll just be happy to see him go to a team where they will use him as a RB as well. He may be small, but given the chance, I am sure he will show what he is made of on the field.

Yep. If he's big enough to be a STs gunner too, I'd love to have him. With our needs, I'd look to take him about round 4. I don't think he'll last. Brian Westbrook may be a similar player, and he went in the 3rd. Great investment.

At his size I doubt he would be asked to gun, nor would he last very long if he did. I think it’s enough that he can return and provide a spark on offense occasionally . . . whether he’s good in interviews should mean less than zero. Why should it matter if he has a speech impediment as a football player?

If he is still there for us in the 4th I hope we take him.

I'd be a terrible GM. I'd draft Matt Jones just because I like the guy.

    quick first impressions ...

clayton - loved the one sliding catch he made. i missed bits of the game but overall he didn't make me cream.

shazor - i really like the way this guy carries himself.

hawthorne - mags is rite on. was just destroying marcus johnson but seemed off balance and didn't finish. he appears to be a beast

RBs - houston looked better than i expected. didn't like kay-jay or arrington. i'd take T.A. over these guys. like sproles the best of what i saw in this game. i think he's gonna be very productive (to use scout speak). he's pretty thick and tuff to get a good shot on so i think he can carry a pretty good load.

gibson - looked very good and i won't cry if we grab him in the second.

alex smith - looked good with some nice ups but i mite like to take a chance and try to develop jones at TE. McCarty (? TCU) looked pretty damn decent too.
