Watched more film today. Senior Bowl footage is still supporting my above assessment, but I have another half to watch. Just started looking at Brace's "highlight" clips on YouTube, and even those don't look very good.

Yup, seen the Youtube "highlights" and they sucked. Every run stop Brace had the back ran straight into him. Even then, most of the time he hadn't shed his blocker.

Brace takes on a double team and does not give ground, seems to push them back towards the QB at 25 seconds.

I think this is all a moot point to a certain extent because we needed DTs last year and we signed the leftovers on the FA market. Darrin over at the Herlad thinks the Panthers will have the same "M.O." as last year when when we struck out on DL help in the early rounds signing Walker and Scott after the draft.

Apparently Walker is still on the market and so are some second and third tier veteran D-lineman, but no serious contenders to vie for starting DT spots.

I'm fairly well settled on the notion Kemo and Lewis are our starters for this season (but I DON'T have to like it).

Yeah, nobody really jumps off the page. Again, I see the brass drafting on value, not needs (probably grabbing a couple of LBs yet again :veryangry:) and filling holes in the days following the draft via FA. We very well could see a couple of those guys on that FA list. As to who, your guess is as good as mine.
