I wonder what kind of hazing he'll get in Denver.

    The Mile High broom stick?

I would consider Rouen 'good'. I guess the other two provide good depth for a Dan Henning offense.

    Panthers trade Sauerbrun to Broncos

    PAT YASINSKAS

    Staff Writer

The Carolina Panthers today traded punter Todd Sauerbrun to the Denver Broncos for a 7th round draft pick in in 2006 and Broncos punter Jason Baker.

The proposed trade had appeared to be at a dead end last week.

Sauerbrun's contract includes base salaries of $1.2 million this season, $1.295 million next season and $1.4 million in 2007.

Baker is considered a strong-legged punter who can also handle kickoffs. The Broncos claimed him off waivers on Dec. 9, 2004, from the Indianapolis Colts.

Don't let the door smack you on the ass on the way out, Todd! :wavey:

I still can't believe we were actually able to trade him. :thud:
