Just so I can't be accused of talking out of both sides of my mouth...

I called for Moose's head after the gun/weed incident. I was called for Smith's head after the film room incident (and numerous other incidents). I called for Anderson's head long before his last suspension. I called for Terry's head when he was convicted of spousal abuse. I called for Cooper's head long before his last DUI incident.

I'm calling for Sauerbrun's head now.

I'm not denying that all but Terry and Anderson have gone on to play at or near a Pro Bowl level. But I personally don't think extraordinary performance on the field is enough to overlook these kinds of charges.

I also want to say I'm all for second chances. So far for Smitty and Moose, a second chance has worked out. Terry, Anderson, and Cooper apparently haven't learned their lessons yet. I hope someone doesn't end up maimed or dead for them to do so.

You know why I'm calling for Todd's head instead of giving him another shot? His attitude. This team is neck deep in the greatest turn-around story in NFL history; with guys doing whatever it takes to win, and this freaking punter not only refuses to discipline himself enough to lose 4 pounds, but refuses to help out in an area that is nothing less than a win-win situation for him and the team. He wants Hentrich money, let him play both ways (well) like Craig does. All he'll do is increase his value come contract time. I don't hear Kasay saying, "Sorry Scotty -- punting isn't my job."

Blah, blah, blah. The team won't cut him, so all of this is pointless anyway.

All I care about is if he gets to play. That sounds pretty crappy, but I don't care if he's a drunk as long as it doesn't affect his kicking and he gets to play. Now if he looks like he's drunk while kicking I'll be pissed.

Well I was in the general vicinity, about the same time. If he was about to crash into me, I'd be caring about more than whether or not he gets to play.

Bears punter Todd Sauerbrun was convicted of reckless driving by a
judge who chastised the player for ARROGANT BEHAVIOR.

    No, not Todd!

    He didn't kill anyone.

Don't get me talking about MADD... Those propaganda whores.

The team better treat him the same as they have others in the past. If not, it's just not right.
